Flint Bishop, the East Midlands’ law firm which recently launched a major re-brand, has appointed Carl Weston as Head of Marketing

Carl, 31, joins the firm from solicitors Freeth Cartwright in Nottingham where he was marketing manager.

Before that he worked in marketing at law firm Curtis Parkinson in Nottingham and also spent three years in the marketing department of Derby-based IT business ESP.

Carl takes over his new role from Head of Marketing Bev Cook who was responsible for co-coordinating the launch of Flint Bishop’s re-brand and new corporate identity.

Bev, who has many years’ experience of handling marketing for professional services’ firms across the East Midlands, has set up her own business, Simple Marketing Consultancy.

Carl, who will head a team of marketing managers, said it was an exciting time to be joining Flint Bishop.

He added:  “The firm was recently named the UK’s fastest growing legal practice by The Lawyer and has recently gone through a major re-branding exercise.”

“It is entering a new phase in its long and successful history and this is an exciting time to be involved with the firm.”

Carl, who is married with two young children, is originally from Nottingham and now lives in Carlton. He is an avid Nottingham Forest fan and enjoys undertaking DIY projects in his spare time.
