Flint Bishop’s commercial property team is continuing to build on its success, providing legal advice to major national and regional development schemes
High profile town centre redevelopments, industrial schemes and business parks all feature prominently in the law firm’s commercial property portfolio, with its highly experienced team advising on a wide range of property related issues.
Flint Bishop – recently named by The Lawyer as the UK’s fastest growing legal practice– has also changed its name and has a vibrant new corporate identity as part of a major re-brand
Commercial property partner John Taylor and his team are currently acting for London-based Discovery Properties in relation to a multi-million pound project to redevelop part of Darlington Town Centre.
Discovery Properties is undertaking this development in conjunction with Peveril Securities Ltd in Darlington’s prime retail district on behalf of Darlington Borough Council in a project which will include the creation of a four-storey retail and leisure complex.
In addition, Flint Bishop’s Derby and Nottingham offices have been retained to act for the joint developers of Wolverhampton Business Park – a 30 acre prime new employment site for the West Midlands which has been designed to meet the needs of both the region’s growing businesses and inward investors. This development is being led by partners Barry Sankey in Nottingham and Ian Beardmore in Derby.
The £40 million scheme near Junction 2 of the M54 is being developed by Broadlands (Wolverhampton) Limited, a joint venture partnership between B& R Properties and Peveril Securities.
