Smith Cooper, Flint Bishop, Purely Digital and NatWest have joined forces to sponsor the upcoming concert at Derby Cathedral.
Friday 16th October will see highly anticipated Sonara Singers and the Eastwood Collieries Male Voice Choir visit Derby Cathedral.
The event is amongst one of the first concerts being held at Derby Cathedral, following its new refurbishment with proceeds made from this event going directly to the supported charity, Newlife.
Newlife is the UK’s largest charity funder for children’s specialist disability equipment with the second arm of the charity being responsible for the UK’s only national emergency equipment service for terminally ill children.
The combined efforts of each of the Derby Bondholders has allowed the charity to host this event, which starts at 7.15pm, and is open to the general public.
This is the first time that Newlife has joined up with local businesses and David Reeves, Regional Fundraising and Awareness Manager says “I’m delighted that local businesses have teamed up to support the Newlife concert taking place this week. The event promises to be a great evening for all ages and having witnessed the choir in warm up, I can promise this will be a fantastic night.
I am grateful for the support of Smith Cooper, Flint Bishop, Purely Digital and NatWest, without whom this event would be difficult to both advertise and fund. Their dedication of time, money and support will not be overlooked. They have each supported the charity in its aim of supporting medical research, Newlife nurses, equipment grants and the day to day running of such a large charity.
For Flint Bishop, both Zoe Dowthwaite and Claire Tonks have been of great value whilst organising the event, so I offer them my sincere thanks.”
