Flint Bishop acquires one of Derbyshire’s oldest law firms

Leading East Midlands law firm Flint Bishop has announced the acquisition of niche legal practice Robotham & Co, one of the city’s oldest and most respected solicitors.
Robotham & Co, which has offices in St Mary’s Gate in the city, has been in existence for more than 150 years and is currently run by the fifth generation of the Robotham family. The practice has a strong reputation for wills, probate, trusts and property work and has an established Derbyshire client base.
Flint Bishop has evolved over the years in order to remain at the forefront of a changing legal marketplace; it now provides a diverse range of legal services for both businesses and individuals in the East Midlands and is committed to being a full service law firm.
This acquisition reinforces Flint Bishop's capabilities in high-value private client work with a particular emphasis on Wills, Probate and Trusts.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ken Dixon, managing partner of Flint Bishop, said:
