Flint Bishop Solicitors are pleased to have acted for Sheffield based Banner Plant Limited, a subsidiary of Henry Boot Plc, on its acquisition of Premier Plant and Tool Hire Limited.
Premier operates from two depots in Leicester and is one of the largest independent plant and tool hire companies in the East Midlands.
Premier’s previous owner, Rob Hughes, will be remaining at the helm in his new role as General Manager Leicester.
Giles Boot, Managing Director of Banner Plant Limited, comments: “The fact that Rob Hughes chose Banner to continue Premier’s development speaks volumes for the respect we have for each other’s businesses. The team at Flint Bishop helped to ensure that this friendly deal went through smoothly and on time. Together, under the Banner brand, we are a stronger proposition in both Leicestershire and our current area of operations. ”
Rachel Bennett, Corporate Partner at Flint Bishop, comments: “There are obvious synergies for the two businesses and clear respect between the individuals involved; I’m sure the combined business will go from strength to strength.”
