The challenge will take place on the weekend of 30 and 31 May and will start and end in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Flint Bishop will make up two of the 175 teams who will pushing themselves to their physical limits and going without sleep, in order to raise funds for Oxfam and the Ghurkha Welfare Trust.
So far, the firm has raised more than £4,000 and is hoping that top that total before the team sets off later this month.
Commenting on the Trailtrekker Challenge, managing partner Ken Dixon said:
“We’re all delighted to be taking part in this year’s Trailtrekker challenge; it’s a fantastic cause and I’m sure it will be an experience that none of us will forget.
“Knowing the spirited nature of my colleagues I’m sure that things will get very competitive between the two teams – both in terms of fundraising and in completing the walk in the shortest time."
Ian Beardmore, senior partner added:
“I can speak for both teams when I say how excited we are about the Trailtrekker Challenge – it’s a great opportunity and fundraising is going very well, I just hope we don’t ache too much afterwards!”
Training for the event has already started and several members of the teams recently completed the Derby 10k. The teams also recently got together and walked several laps of Carsington Water and trekked various routs across the Peak District.
