Leading Midlands law firm, Flint Bishop LLP, is celebrating after three of its partners were recognised as ‘Leaders in their Field’ by Chambers UK, the UK’s leading legal research directory.
Property partners Ian Beardmore and John Taylor and licensing partner Andrew Cochrane have been recognised by Chambers & Partners for their work in their respective areas. This is the third consecutive year the three partners have been recognised for their achievements.
Launched in 1990, Chambers UK is an annual publication, which ranks solicitors and barristers in more than 60 specialist areas of law after extensive research by the Chambers team.
Nominations are put forward by peers, professionals, referees and clients, as well as by the Chambers team itself and are assessed following thousands of interviews with lawyers and clients.
Rankings are based on technical legal ability, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and the other qualities that are most valued by clients.
Final rankings will be announced when the 2012 issue is published in October of this year.
Speaking about the accolade, Andrew Cochrane said:
“It is an honour to be awarded ‘Leader in Field’ status again by Chambers UK; the publication has a strong reputation and is known to be one of the best independent assessments of the legal sector.”
Ken Dixon, managing partner at Flint Bishop LLP added:
“We are absolutely delighted to see three of our partners receive such prestigious accolades; it is tremendously gratifying when your skills and expertise are recognised and appreciated by peers and clients.
“We focus on being proactive and believe our advice adds value to our clients’ businesses. These accolades are a true reflection of the high quality work that this firm is doing on a daily basis,” added Ken.
