Leading Derby law firm Flint Bishop has secured Oxfam, the world’s third largest charity, as a client thanks to its innovative approach to providing legal services online.
Oxfam, a global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty, has signed up to FB Wills Direct, Flint Bishop’s award-winning ‘at a distance’ service, which streamlines the Will writing process by enabling people to prepare a Will at their convenience from anywhere in England and Wales - without having to visit a solicitor.
Supporters of the charity will now join an audience of more than 2.5 million people who can access the service via 20 national organisations, including high profile names including Breast Cancer Care and The Children’s Mutual, which have also recently signed up to FB Wills Direct.
Commenting on the growth of the service, Ken Dixon, managing partner of Flint Bishop said:
“Providing certain legal services at a distance, in particular on-line, is an area of sustained growth for the private client side of the firm. It allows us not only to expand our client base outside our geographical region, but also to provide services in a way in which people wish to buy them.
“Recent statistics show that, despite the economic slowdown, online purchasers are continuing to increase.”
