Specialist advice for the Elderly
|
 |
Two Lawyers from leading Derby law firm Flint Bishop LLP have been accepted as professional members of the national association 'Solicitors for the Elderly' (SFE).
Claire Ritchie and Nelissa Hicks will now join a select group of experienced legal professionals who specialise in the provision of legal services for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.
Solicitors for the Elderly is an independent, national association whose members have a wealth of experience in this key area of the law.
The association aims to improve the knowledge and service provided on a range of legal issues including tax planning, wills, enduring powers of attorney, long-term social and health care and other retirement issues.
In order to become a member of the SFE, legal professionals must fulfil the association’s membership criteria, pass an extensive entrance examination and have spent a significant amount of time working with older and vulnerable clients.
Flint Bishop already specialises in legal matters for older people. Claire and Nelissa’s membership of the SFE will reinforce the firm’s reputation for delivering high quality legal advice in this area.
Commenting on their membership of SFE, Claire Rudkin, partner and head of wills, probate, tax and trusts at Flint Bishop, said:
“I would like to congratulate Claire and Nelissa on qualifying as members of SFE. This qualification from SFE recognises the skills of my team in dealing with elderly and vulnerable people.
