Claire Rudkin manages one of the largest wills and probate teams in the East Midlands and has extensive experience in dealing with the estates and complex trusts of high-net-worth individuals.

Claire advises clients on all aspects of will writing, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, deputyships, Court of Protection and elderly client matters, as well as dealing with foreign domicile probate matters and UK domiciled clients with foreign assets.

Her previous background in accountancy, together with her extensive legal knowledge, enables her to provide clients with expert estate and tax planning advice, as well as managing the practicalities and day-to-day handling of large and complex trusts and estates.

Claire is highly-experienced in advising clients with extensive business and agriculture assets.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has been consistently recommended by The Legal 500 for several years. She is also recognised by Chambers and Partners as a leading individual for high-net-worth matters, frequently providing estate planning advice for clients worth over £10m and managing trusts in excess of £300m.

In addition to advising clients, Claire regularly provides professionals with CPD-accredited training courses on various private client subjects throughout the East Midlands.

She also frequently features on regional radio shows, offering her expert opinion on topical matters relating to her area of expertise and often presents to special interest groups and charities on a variety of subjects. Claire has also previously been instructed as a joint expert witness in a contentious probate case.

She completed her degree in Accountancy and Law at the University of Derby then completed her Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at Staffordshire University.
