Top employer for third successive year

For the third successive year, leading Midlands law firm, Flint Bishop, has been recognised as one of the UK’s leading employers in a national survey published in the Daily Telegraph.
The firm, which employs 200 staff at its offices in Derby and Ashbourne, is one of just 58 organisations across the UK to be included in the list of Britain’s Top Employers 2011, which recognises companies with excellent HR policies – and takes its place this year as an ‘employer of choice’ alongside household names such as BMW, Estée Lauder, IBM, McDonalds and the Co-operative Group.
Developed by the global research institute CRF, the Top Employer project uses international benchmarks to determine whether organisations exceed the standards found within its research.
The results are based on a mix of characteristics including HR Policy based research, objectivity and independent assessment by Grant Thornton LLP, one of the world's leading accounting and consulting firms.
Flint Bishop was praised for its outstanding working conditions and achieved 5 out of 5 stars in company culture and an excellent 3.5 out of 5 stars in career development.
Commenting on the firm’s inclusion in this year’s listings, Ken Dixon, managing partner at Flint Bishop said:
